TRAVEL PLAN PLUS (TP+) is an exciting project joining employers in Cambridge in a network to promote more sustainable travel to work and on business.
Many organisations recognise the economic, commercial, social and environmental benefits to their company, and the corresponding benefits to their staff, of implementing workplace travel plans, but others are yet to look at travel issues. By managing many initiatives in a network, TP+ will make travel plans as effective, efficient and coordinated as possible.
The Cambridge network covers all organisations in the following areas:
There are close to 200 organisations employing in excess of 7,500 staff located across the area ranging from large and medium sized organisations with their own premises to small companies and start-ups located in smaller units or in one of three serviced office buildings.
A map of the TP+ area and TP+ Area aerial photograph is available for download.

In 2009, a draft travel plan was prepared for the Travel Plan Plus area as part of the European Union project component. It outlined how people travel to and from the area, including initiatives and promotions to encourage more sustainable travel choices. The travel plan was not taken forward at the conclusion of the EU project.
The next stage of the project is to establish a locally based financial model. Once this is established the draft travel plan will be updated to reflect the existing situation and requirements of key project partners. In the mean time please view the rest of the TP+ website for information on our extensive range of tools and services to encourage and promote sustainable travel to the area.
