Increase on parking charges in Cambridge

Parking will now cost more in Cambridge. The proposed changes to fees will take affect on April 2011. Parking structures such as the Grand Arcade, Queen Anne, Park Street and Grafton East could see an increase in fees between nine and 17 percent.

However, cycle parking is still free and cycling is cheaper. Avoid the parking charges and wasted petrol, cycle into town or take the Park and Rides (£2 return ticket including parking). Or book out a TP+ electric bike to take into town, free of charge.
