The Guided Busway is currently obstructing toads, frogs and other amphibians from making their migratory way to the lake on the Guided Busway route between Cambridge Regional College stop and Histon.
There will be tunnels dug under the Guided Busway tracks to help animals make their way to the lake to thrive. Currently, the buses and cyclists on the busway are running over these creatures. Once the busway is handed over to Cambridgeshire County Council, more tunnels will be built with staff making sure man and animals thrive well together.
