Inaugural Travel Plan Plus Meeting

The inaugural meeting of the TRAVEL PLAN PLUS (TP+) project was held on 23 September 2009 and was kindly hosted by Genzyme Therapeutics Ltd, based on the Cambridge Science Park.

The event, attended by 26 employers and site managers from across the TP+ area, heard from Mark Webb, TP+ project manager about the project aims and objects. David Abbott from The Highways Agency and Andrew Summers from EEDA then outlined why they are supporting the project.

Gary Armstrong, TP+ Coordinator then updated the group on the current status regarding the establishment of the "commuter centre" and current events and activities. The attendees then split into 2 groups to consider travel to and from issues facing employers across the site.
