The GCP, an academic-business-civic economic growth consortium, has been successful in securing up to £1billion in funding to 2030 to help create the right conditions to keep Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire a successful and thriving city region. This is an opportunity to hear more from the GCP on the local growth story and engage with developing further solutions in transport infrastructure, skills, housing and ‘Smart’ technology.
GCP are interested to hear your honest views, and they will be at community centres, shopping malls, supermarkets and transport hubs right across the area over the next few weeks ready to listen to them – and if you cannot make it to those venues, we’d love to hear your views online or by post until the end of November. The GCP team will also hold a workshop at the Cambridge Science Park on 20th October and more information is on the Upcoming Event below.
During October, and in association with Travel for Cambridgeshire (TfC), a ‘big travel survey’ will be launched seeking information on people’s travel habits, preferences and priorities, to supplement existing data for decision-making. The online survey will open from Monday 9th to Sunday 29th October 2017 and more information will soon be available on TfC’s website.
