The Greater Cambridge Partnership (GCP) set out how transport schemes will transform how people can get around the city quickly, easily and reliably as part of Greater Cambridge Future Transport 2050 video. The video shows how key transport schemes will link up in the future, a wider plan to develop a better, greener, travel network that will give us a range of alternatives to using your car. The video also discusses cycling, walking and public transport improvements, including Cambridgeshire Autonomous Metro (CAM).
Stagecoach will be providing additional services in January.
From 13th January
Additional A journeys during the morning peak and additionally in the evening peak period.
Some D's will become A's and vice versa so that there is better connections with London trains at Cambridge North Station.
From 27th January
Citi 2 - additional Monday to Friday journey from Addenbrooke's at 0606 to cater for those that live along the route (e.g. Mill Road, Birdwood Grove, Chesterton) to arrive before 0700 for 0700 starts for those who work at one of the parks in Cambridge North.
X9 - the 0620 from Ely will operate as a 9 and serve Waterbeach and Milton. The 1647 from Milton Road/Science Park will additionally operate via Waterbeach.
Milton Park & Ride
There is a special return fare from Milton P&R to the Science Park, Business Park and St John’s Innovation Park of £2.50 on Milton Park & Ride buses. Available at any time.
