Every Monday at the Cambridge Science Park Innovation Centre

The Bicycle Ambulance will be in the Cambridge Science Park Innovation Centre rear car park (located near the Innovation Centre bike sheds) between 8.30 - 4.30 every Monday to carryout bike repairs and servicing. No appointment needed just turn up on the day.

Travel Plan Plus is organising lunch time events on 1st and 2nd September, leading up to the Cycle to Work Day which is on Thursday 3rd September. Aim of these talks is to assist commuters ensure that they are using the roads safely and effectively, build confidence when cycling around complex junctions and keep up to date with cycling projects in Cambridgeshire.

Event 1:  Cycling Talks by Outspoken
Date:       Tuesday 1st September
Time:      12.30 – 1.30pm
Venue:   Cambridge Science Park, Innovation Centre, Milton Road
Talk includes:
-          Basic cycling skills, bike and equipment check;
-          Hazard perception;
-          Road positioning and the importance of awareness;
-          Improve understanding and build relations between two groups (cyclists and car user).
 
This talk is relevant to cyclists of all levels (new, rusty, advance), Bicycle User Group and Car Users.
 
Event 2:   Cycling Projects by Cambridgeshire County Council
Date:        Wednesday 2nd September
Time:       12.30 – 1.30pm
Venue:    Cambridge Science Park, Innovation Centre, Milton Road
Talk includes:
-         Mike Davies (Cycling Team Leader) will provide a presentation on the current Cycling projects in                 Cambridgeshire;
-      Q&A session.
